Researching and Trying to Write Without Bias

I’m feeling a bit obsessed… Right now I’m working on a blog post that is far more in depth than anything I have written on here before. I am reading and re reading articles, pulling apart facts and trying to remain unbiased in the process.

It reminds me of university.

It’s been about a week since I started researching this topic and I thought I’d have my post written by now, but I don’t. I have some good rough notes, though.

The post I’m working on is about a medical procedure called a transabdominal cerclage (TAC). I really don’t want to misinform and I really don’t want to be misinformed so I am using many online resources to back up what I put in that post. I’m going that I will be done writing the post and have it go live this week.

My hope in writing this post and doing all this research (including links to all the articles and web sites I’ve checked) is that it will help other women who find themselves in similar positions to what I have been through with incompetent cervix. I hope I can help them to know what options are available to them and make informed decisions that are best for them mind, body and soul, and what’s best for their families.

If after reading this you have any questions that you hope I will answer about TACs, please let me know and I’ll see what I can do about finding those answers
